15 Unquestionably Reasons To Love Robot Vacuum Deals

Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

Now is your chance to own a robot vacuum. CNET's top-rated models are on sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday and can save you up to 57%.

The Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping with app-based no-go zones, and its 180-minute runtime is impressive. It also self-empties and automatically refills its water tank.

1. Roomba j7+ iRobot from iRobot.

The Roomba J7+, IRobot's smartest robot to date, is the Roomba j7+. Its biggest innovation is a camera-based obstacle detection system that utilizes built-in AI to recognize objects like charging cords, shoes and the pet waste that many other robots are unable to avoid (and often plough right through). It's also the first to automatically send you a picture of any object it encounters to let you know to stay clear of it in the future.

The Combo J7+ is the best robot mop that we have ever tested. It cleans up dirt and spills quickly, leaving no trace that it was there. It's easy to control using the iRobot Home app which allows you to schedule cleaning times and create Keep Out Zones to make sure it doesn't clean areas you don't want it to. And it's compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can turn it on and off with your voice.

The design is also superior to the competition. It features a sleek, top piece that resembles a toy rather than a loud and obnoxious robot. And the Clean Base Automated Dirt Disposal System automatically empty which is great to reduce the time spent cleaning.

In our tests the j7+ was quick to clean up dust, dirt and pet hair. The counter-rotating rubber brush roll kept the debris in one location rather than sending it scattering across the floor. It even could take small gravel and sand that other robots couldn't do. And it did all this without getting caught in our pet's hair shed.

Although it's not as efficient as the $1,217 Roomba s9+ Auto-Emptying Vacuum and can't clean stairs, the J7+ is an excellent option for those who require both a vac and a mop in their home. It's not expensive and the iRobot application makes it user-friendly to use.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use, but we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner applications. It can take a while to download updates, and often it's difficult to know whether the update actually functioning until you've seen it in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you want a robot vacuum cleaner that can do more than just clean your floors then a hybrid is the best choice. This kind of robot usually includes a built-in water tank that allows them to vacuum and mop your home at the same time. They also have a number of additional features, such as smart mapping, small obstacles avoidance, and even the capability to dry and wash mopping pads. They're costly at retail, but usually are reduced on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

Roborock has some of our  top robot vacuum s and the Q5+ isn't an exception. It's the cheapest model in their auto-empty line. While it may not have some of the more premium features (like no-go zones or multi-story memories) however, it's an excellent option when you're willing to compromise to save a few dollars.

The Q5+ is exceptionally gentle when it comes to obstacles like table legs and walls. This makes it a great option for homes with a lot of furniture. It's also very thorough in removing dust bunnies. This is an area that most robot vacuums of lower quality do not excel in. The Q5+'s navigation system is top-quality, with a few misses along walls or in corners.

Like other Roborock devices like the Q5+, the Q5+ can be controlled by a few buttons on the device or through the Roborock app. The app lets you start and stop cleanings. You can also set schedules, design virtual barriers and no-go areas or alter your home map, or re-label rooms.

If you select the Q5+ model, it comes with a new auto-emptying dock that's designed to make the robot easier to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver but once it's installed emptying the bin is done with relative ease. It has a large LCD screen which is helpful for setting up schedules or changing settings. This feature isn't required for most people however it can help you to keep the robot's maintenance schedules.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a clever well-rounded vacuum and mop. It's capable of both vacuuming and mopping. Its design and features are some of the top available however it's expensive.

It is a relatively small base station that looks great and can be hidden when not in use. The station's most appealing point is how it automates numerous tasks and functions that most other robots leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water and electrolyze and heat the water. The majority of other robots require you to do this.

Its vacuuming capabilities are also impressive. It's the few robot vacuums I've tested that do an excellent job of cleaning up debris from unfinished floors, and it's not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot 900 series.

However, the Freo X Ultra has its flaws, particularly in terms of navigation. Its LiDAR sensors and laser sensors aren’t as reliable as other robot vacuums. This means that it can get stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms of the house. It's also not able to climb stairs as well as other competitors and doesn't come with a dock to create a clean zone for carpets with plush padding.

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an excellent choice for those who need an automated vacuum that can do it all.

If you're looking to save money or simply don't care about the limitations of this robotic there are many alternatives available which include a variety of eufy models that cost considerably less. The Eufy Qrevo curv, for instance, is cheaper and has many more features, like stairs and a fully-function Dock, which provides an improved overall experience when vacuuming on plain floors carpets with low pile, and even high-pile carpets.

4. eufy RoboVac g30

eufy is an Anker company that has a history of producing robot vacuums that offer the perfect balance of features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different, offering a capable cleaning on hard floors and mopping, carpets and other surfaces at a price that is affordable. It's easy to set up, just attach one of the side brush, turn it on and plug in your charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps needed to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. You'll need to place the dock near an electrical outlet and enough space to allow it to move, however.

The G30 is a compact device, measuring 2.85 inches in height, meaning it will be tucked away under couches and low-clearance pieces furniture. Its design is a little less flashy than some of the rival models, with sleek black finishes and three physical buttons that control Auto Cleaning, which can be paused or started. Recharge and Spot Clean (which cleans the area in an arc for two minutes). You can also connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to conduct cleaning without a schedule using voice commands.

The most important feature that makes the G30 apart from most competitors is the way it cleans. It makes use of an integrated map to create an image of the immovable objects in its path. It can remember what it has already cleaned and what it is unable to access. It will return to the base to recharge, and then begins cleaning the area it left.

The sleek G30 has some flaws. The iRobot Roomba is built better and has lower recurring costs. It charges faster, offers the same battery life and is more effective on bare flooring or carpet with a low pile. It has a larger dust bin that doesn't require as much emptying. It also comes with border strips that block it from certain areas. The G30 is less expensive and easier to maintain. Its smaller container means it doesn't have to be empty as often, and it has less difficulty handling bulky products like cereal.
